| Our four selfcatering holiday cottages are away from it all in the country, overlooking the North Wales coast, on the edge of Snowdonia National Park, North Wales. The self catering cottages are peacefully situated (and traffic free), at eight hundred and fifty feet (260m) in the Carneddau of Snowdonia. The non-smoking holiday cottages are on our 10 acre Plas Heulog estate. We do our best to provide allergen free accommodation in our holiday cottages. The self-catering holiday cottages are in the country 2km from the seaside at Llanfairfechan, with a sandy beach which has been awarded BLUE FLAG for 2009, halfway between Conwy and Bangor on the North Wales Coast, with panoramic views of the Snowdonia mountains and across the Menai Straits to Anglesey. Our holiday cottages are in an excellent location for touring Snowdonia and North Wales and we have Wales Tourist Board walking and cycling awards. Plas Heulog's location averages an annual rainfall of 36 inches, less than half other parts of Snowdonia and North Wales. With their southerly aspect our house and cottages try to live up to their name which translates to 'Sunny House'. |  |

Built in 1896, Plas Heulog is our home, and we are usually available to give advice and assistance if needed. The holiday cottages are located above our house, on the coastal edge of Snowdonia, and are ideal for exploring the Castles, country houses and gardens of North Wales, being less than half an hour's drive from Bodnant Garden (NT), Conwy, Caernarfon and Beaumaris castles, Plas Newydd (NT) and Penrhyn Castle (NT), as well as Snowdon mountain railway at Llanberis (20 min). The Isle of Anglesey can be reached in 20 minutes, and only 35 minutes brings you to Holyhead for a day trip to Dublin. Further afield, Portmeirion is 1 hour's drive. |

The single storey terrace of four self-catering holiday cottages, situated above the house, with private parking, makes the most of the stunning Snowdonia mountain and sea views with patio doors from all main rooms opening onto a verandah - lawn chairs provided. You have immediate access to footpaths and bridleways taking you out onto Snowdonia's Carnedd mountains amongst the sheep and wild ponies, with an illustrated walk sheet provided to the pre-historic 'Druid Stone Circle'. |
